Angie Greer Music in Poetry Contest

The Angie Greer Poetry Contest awards $100 to five students annually, one award for each region in NFMC.
Any form of poetry is acceptable. The poem may be in traditional rhyming form, free verse, story poetry form, etc.

Age Limit: Under 19 years of age.
Entry Fee: $5.00
Deadline: February 1, annually.

National Music Week Essay Contest

2025 Theme: Music is unstoppable

The National Music Week Essay contest awards $75.00 in each state where a winner is declared.  Essay will be judged on relation to theme, continuity of thought, and completeness of application.  

Age Limit: Open to students in 7th through 12th grade.
Entry Fee: None. 
Membership in NFMC is not required to enter.
Deadline: January 10th, annually.
